Personal data that we process
LifeEngineer processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
– First and last name
– Address details
– Telephone number
– E-mail address
– Other personal details that you actively provide, for example in correspondence or by telephone
– Data about your activities on our website
– Internet browser and device type
– Bank account number
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service has no intention of collecting information about website visitors who are under the age of 18. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 18. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at Jennifer@lifeengineer.nl and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on the basis of which basis do we process personal data?
LifeEngineer processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Handling your payment
– Sending you our newsletter and/or advertising folder
– To be able to call you or send you an email if this is necessary to carry out our services.
– To inform you about changes to our services and products
– To offer you the possibility to create an account
– To deliver services to you
– LifeEngineer analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor the products and services to your preferences.
– LifeEngineer also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
Automated decisions
LifeEngineer does not make any decisions based on automated processing with regard to matters which could (significantly) affect individuals. These decisions are made by computer programmes or systems, without the intervention of a human being (for example an employee of LifeEngineer).
How long we keep personal data
LifeEngineer will not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected.
Specifically:
– Data of existing clients will not be kept for longer than two years except for billing data.
– The data of potential clients will not be kept longer than one year if no agreement is reached.
– In accordance with the law, invoice data are kept for 7 years.
Sharing personal data with third parties
LifeEngineer will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information if necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation. We will enter into a processing agreement with companies which process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. LifeEngineer will remain responsible for this processing.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
LifeEngineer uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. LifeEngineer uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. Viewing, amending or deleting data

In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.
If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right of data transfer or if you have any other questions/comments about the data processing, please send a specified request to Jennifer@Lifeengineer.nl. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Please make sure that your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) are blackened in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.
LifeEngineer will respond to your request as soon as possible but in any case within four weeks. How we protect personal data
LifeEngineer takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via Jennifer@Lifeengineer.nl.
